These Terms of Service govern your use of our salon services and website. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to these terms.
Booking Appointments
Appointments can be made through our online booking system (Fresha), by phone, or in person. When booking, please provide accurate contact information so we can reach you if needed.
- Online bookings are subject to availability and confirmation
- We recommend booking in advance, especially for weekends and colour services
- Walk-ins are welcome but may be subject to availability
Cancellation Policy
Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee for future bookings.
We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late for your appointment:
- We will do our best to accommodate you, but your service may be shortened to avoid delays for other clients
- If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment
- Please call us if you know you will be delayed
Colour Services
Skin Test Required: New clients must have a skin patch test at least 48 hours before any colour service. Existing clients require a skin test annually. This is for your safety and is non-negotiable.
We offer free consultations and skin tests. Please book a "Consultation and Skin Test" appointment before your colour service if you are a new client or haven't had a test in the past 12 months.
Pricing
- All prices are displayed on our booking system and in-salon
- Prices may vary based on hair length, thickness, and complexity of service
- An additional 10% may be charged for ladies and girls with long or very thick hair
- A toner after highlights is an additional £20
- Discounted rates for kids under 5, seniors, and students are available Monday to Thursday
Payment
We accept the following payment methods:
- Cash
- Debit and credit cards
- Contactless payments
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.
Health & Safety
Your safety is our priority. We maintain strict hygiene standards and clean all equipment between clients. Please inform your stylist of any allergies, skin conditions, or health concerns before your service.
If you are feeling unwell, particularly with contagious symptoms, we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment.
Complaints
We strive to provide excellent service. If you are not satisfied with your service, please let us know immediately so we can address your concerns. If you notice an issue after leaving the salon, please contact us within 7 days.
Children
Children are welcome at HQ Salon. For safety reasons, children must be supervised at all times. We offer a calm and friendly environment to help young clients feel at ease during their appointment.
Personal Belongings
HQ Salon is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Please keep valuables secure during your visit.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
